Kawasaki Robotics GmbH, NeussKawasaki Robotics (UK) Ltd is the UK robotics division of Kawasaki Heavy Industries Japan and since introducing the first industrial robot into the Japanese domestic market way back in 1969, Kawasaki Robotics have developed into a world leader in the manufacture of industrial robots.

Kawasaki Heavy Industries are renowned world wide for quality and technology in all its engineering systems and products, this philosophy is continued world wide within the Kawasaki Robotics division.

Kawasaki Robotics (UK) Ltd are based in Warrington, located on the Gemini Business Park the 15,000 Sq. Ft. building gives easy access to the main motorway network and is at the centre of the customer base.

The facility centralises all the sales and customer support operations, with areas for customer demonstrations, training, robot test and integration and a large warehouse for stock machines. With over 1,500 machines now operating in various industries and applications throughout the United Kingdom, Kawasaki Robotics system partners, integrators and end users continue to receive the benefits that a Quality and Experienced company can offer.

HISTORY

1968 Technical corroboration with Unimation Inc.(USA) for manufacturing robot.
1969 Kawasaki manufactured the first Industrial Robot in Japan.
1973 100 Kawasaki Robots manufactured in total.
1980 1,000 Kawasaki Robots manufactured in total.
1981 Production of electric robot ("P" series) began.
1985 Technical corroboration with Unimation Inc. terminated and start global robot business.
1986 Large size electric robot "E" series put on the market.
Kawasaki Robotics Co., Ltd. Established for after service and training.
1987 Detroit Robot Liaison Office opened in USA.
1989 Medium/ Small sized "J" series launched.
1990 10,000 Kawasaki Robots manufactured in total.
Kawasaki Robotics (USA), Inc. established in Detroit, USA.
1991 UK Robot Liaison Office opened.
1992 Large sized "U" series launched.
All digital controller "AD series" launched.
1994 Local production started at Kawasaki Motors Manufacturing Corp., in Lincoln, USA.
1995 Kawasaki Robotics GmbH established in Neuss, Germany.
1996 ISO9001 acquired in Japan.
20,000 Kawasaki Robot manufactured in total.
Kawasaki Robotics (UK), Limited established in Manchester, UK.
1997 All digital compact sized controller "C series" launched.
1998 Medium/ Small sized "F" series launched.
1998 FS10E receives good design award in Japan.
1998 ISO14001 acquired in Akashi Works. (Robot Division)
1999 Kawasaki Machine Systems Korea Ltd. established in Inchon, Korea.
1999 Kawasaki FS02, FS03 and C70 Controller,exclusive for FS02/03, launched as a small end robot of Kawasaki F-series.
1999 Kawasaki Robot UK Relocate To Warrington.
2000 Major automative orders received.
2001 1000 robots working within the UK.
2001 Kawasaki acquires paint robot business from Kobelco.
2002 Kawasaki launches the M-Series with the payload capacity of 350Kg to 500Kg.
2003 Kawasaki launches painting robots in Europe.
The production of robots reaches 50,000 units.
